The Gorilla Guide was my second online purchase of an interviewing guide. My first was one of those Q&A books that tell you how to answer the top 100 questions. I felt like a robot, and quickly blew two very good opportunities.  I guess the interviewers didn’t know they were supposed to ask only those questions! After reading MyGorilla Guide, I knew I gained considerable knowledge about the actual process and purpose of interviewing, and was able to prepare myself for absolutely anything that came up in the interview. The preparation was certainly more intense, but the results were outstanding. The very next interview, I so impressed the VP that she made me an offer on the spot, and asked her admin to cancel all other interviews. Thank you, Jim, for a great education on interviews!”

“Bottom line is this: Don’t waste your time on the dozens of ‘free’ downloads of interview questions, tips, and tricks. They are worth about as much you pay…nothing! I bought MyGorillaGuide because I was so tired of hearing the same crap from ‘experts ‘ about how to dress, smile, sit up straight, and how to answer question X with response Y. From the Gorilla Guide, I learned what interviewers are really looking for, and how to make sure they find it, plain and simple. An added plus is that I also learned how to be a better interviewer when I was on the other side of the table.”

“I was initially skeptical of the Gorilla Guide. After all, it was the first time I had seen a gorilla as a symbol of success and achievement. As I read through the site, I became intrigued because it took interviewing in an entirely different direction. So, I bought the book, and studied it cover to cover. Am I glad I did!!  The following week, I aced a telephone ‘screening’ interview with an HR Manager. The follow-up interview was a face-to-face with a business owner who knew everything about his business, but nothing about interviewing.  Using ideas learned from the Gorilla Guide, I was able to make sure he learned more about me than he did his other candidates. When it got to the close, I asked him the question the Gorilla Guide insisted I ask, and the result was jaw-dropping! The business owner had never been asked that before, and said it was “the right question at the right time”. He made an acceptable offer the next day.”
